This quick and easy to complete running questionnaire is designed to help you understand where you can start to improve your running. It does not matter what your end goal is or your current level of running, the idea is to understand the important basics of training effectively and to identify the area that you could address to help you move forwards.

Just to say, thank you both so much for your running plan input. I ran my half in a pb of 1.35.04 (pb by about 2 minutes, which had been my aspiration for ages) – totally unexpected given my main goal was to get round uninjured. 


Without having done the Foundation Running Assessment, I would never have been able to remain injury free while training for and running the marathon. You certainly have to commit to doing the exercises but the results have allowed me to feel that I am in the best shape I could possibly be.


I did it! I got my massive PB of 14 minutes with a time of 3:18:52


I absolutely loved it, so much more than I thought I would! I had some pain and fairly early on but it was manageable and was intermittent. My official time was 4.42.14, I stuck to the plan and managed to keep really even pace splits throughout. I smiled the whole way, it was such a great atmosphere. Thanks so much for all of your support and guidance. There were so many times that I didn’t think it was possible, thank you for helping me through.


Thank you. I can quite simply run further faster and so I am enjoying my running more than ever.
